Camus Ile de Re Fine Island

Camus Île de Ré Fine Island has extraordinary freshness and unique notes, explaining why it stands out as one of the tastiest brandies not only in France but also in the world. It is made from dark-colored grape varieties, which have naturally high iodine content than those harvested on the mainland. The brandy is manufactured in Île de Ré Fine Island, which is strategically located in the westernmost part of the Cognac appeletin in Bois à Terroirs Cru, off the west coast of France. The island boasts of a unique climate, which plays a major role in bestowing a truly individual character on its eaux-de-vie. Île de Ré Fine Island is distilled twice in special copper pot stills and aged for at least two years in lightly toasted French oak barrels to enhance its flavors and greater roundness. This young Cognac is straw-colored with hints of gold, with the nose exhibiting delicate marine notes and fresh broom aromas. The palate is dominated by dry fruits with hints of oak.
