Only the finest Ugni Blanc grapes are used to distill the Hennessy cognacs that have been a staple of France for generations. They only harvest their grapes from the unique part of the Cognac region around the River Charente, giving a quality of superior excellence. Cognac reached a turning point in 1870 thanks to Maurice Hennessy when he crafted XO Cognac for his inner circle of friends. The new style that exemplified a bolder, complicated flavor with a richness far beyond any cognac before it ushered in a new era in the art of crafting cognac.
