In fact, some of the constituent cognacs in Hennessy XO are aged for over thirty years. The name was given to the spirit way back in 1870 by company founder Maurice Hennessy. He originally crafted it exclusively for his personal use and to share with his family and close friends. Hennessy XO features a very rich amber color. Prominent flavor notes include spice and candied fruits. Hennessy suggests enjoying X0 either neat or on the rocks.
