Atlantico Reserva gold rum blends heavier styled rums with lighter styled rums. Atlantico Reserva blends fresh cane juice with molasses to make a mixture of heavy and light. This scrumptious rum have a unique body with a richness that one will not forget, but also has a more delicate and lighter texture to it. The cane juices and molasses are aged in completely separate processes, one process being approximately two years and the other three years. Once the the cane juices and molasses are blended together, they can be aged for upwards of two years together before being mixed and aged for the rum for approximately 15 years. This separate aging process gives Atlantico Reserva a very unique blend. After the aging process has been completed in barrels, Atlantico Reserva has aguardiente added to it just before bottling. This addition gives Atlantico Reserva the tasting profile it is known for.
